NAUTILIUM 4 CALIBRATED
When the base is already superlative
The technical standard of European countries which, in recent years, has defined the mechanical and dimensional characteristics of chains for pleasure boat anchors has always indicated the standard of mechanical strength on the basis of a breaking strength of 30 kg per mm2.
Nautilium has chosen to elevate the quality base of its standard anchor chains up to a breaking strength of 40 kg per mm2. Thanks to the careful selection of special steels and top-quality manufacturing procedures, the basic Nautilium products provide a performance superior to industry standards! Hence the decision has been taken to distinguish the basic range of calibrated Nautilium anchor chains by means of the distinctive quality mark NAUTILIUM 4.
PLUS FEATURES
• Higher breaking strength resistance than a tradition grade 30 chain with consequent greater safety when anchoring in rough waters, and dimensional specifications in line with existing standards and windlass seats available on the market.
• Greater chain elastic field which translates into a potentially greater capacity of the chain itself thanks to the use of better-quality steels with higher prized-alloy content.
• The higher quality of NAUTILIUM 4 compared to a grade 30 chain does not translate into a price disadvantage for the buyer. Nautilium has chosen not to make its loyal customers pay for the better performance of Nautilium 4, which in fact retails at the same price as a traditional chain.
